HR Officer

We are seeking a hands-on HR professional to join the HR team in supporting payroll and HR operations across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Hong Kong payroll, with additional exposure to payroll in other APAC locations being a strong advantage.

This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is comfortable working independently and collaborating with external payroll and HR service providers.

Reporting To: Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll and HR operations for Hong Kong and assigned countries across the region, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support and administer compensation and benefits activities, including payroll, MPF, leave management, insurance administration, and coordination with external payroll and HR service providers
• Assist with the ongoing review and updating of HR policies to ensure relevance and compliance
• Maintain and update accurate HR database and personnel files
• Prepare regular HR reports and support data analysis
• Initiate and participate in ad-hoc HR projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing payroll and HR operations independently. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior HR Officer.
• Proven experience independently managing Hong Kong payroll is required, with strong knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other relevant HR regulations
• A positive team player, attention to detail, organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS Systems
• Experience handling payroll administration in APAC countries is an advantage
• Experience managing external payroll and HR vendors is highly preferred
• Immediate availability is preferred
