Coffee, Conversation, Community: Drip Coffee Day at Compass Offices Japan

On 22 October, Compass Offices celebrated Drip Coffee Day across all five of our locations in Japan with a special coffee-tasting event designed to bring members together through a shared appreciation for great coffee.

For the occasion, members were invited to sample two drip coffee varieties from Sarutahiko Coffee: The Floral and Mocha Mild. Offering a different experience from the familiar Compass Blend served daily in our offices, the tasting gave members the opportunity to discover new flavours and compare their favourites.

After enjoying both varieties, participants cast their votes to determine the most popular blend. While Mocha Mild emerged as the overall favourite, The Floral also attracted plenty of attention for its elegant floral aroma and subtle acidity, sparking lively discussions among coffee enthusiasts throughout the day.

More than just a tasting event, Drip Coffee Day created moments for members to pause, connect, and engage with one another. Across our centres, conversations flowed naturally as professionals from different industries gathered over a cup of coffee, highlighting the role that shared experiences play in building a vibrant workplace community.
