Compass Offices Expands into Poland

Compass Offices, the largest and the fastest-growing serviced offices provider in Asia today opened their first European office in Warsaw, Poland. Located in the prestigious Rondo 1 building over an area of nearly 2,000 sq. m, the space can accommodate up to 60 companies. The products and services include rental of serviced and virtual offices, conference rooms, secretarial services, state of the art IT services and communication support.

The ambitions for Compass Offices in Poland include the opening of five further locations, strengthening its position worldwide. Over the coming months, more locations are opening in Manila, Philippines, Shanghai, China and Melbourne, Australia. Hadley Dean, CEO Compass Offices EMEA explains why Compass Offices selected Poland to start its European growth. “Over the last five years Poland has had the highest GDP growth of any EU country and has become the centre of international projects and investments. It is a country where the economy is growing owing to small and medium enterprises and start-up businesses. Along with market trends, the demand for flexible and comprehensive workplace solutions is growing. This is why we are beginning our European expansion from Poland,”

Flexibility, the sign of our times.

Compass Offices offers solutions for both large and small companies. “Bigger players use our services for training sessions, workshops, sizable business meetings and teleconferences. We offer the latest technologies without the expense of owning such equipment. With us, small and medium enterprises gain immediate access to prestigious, fully furnished offices in a premium location with a multilingual receptionist and state-of-the-art technological trimmings – says Hadley Dean. What is the key to success? - Flexibility. In the past people used to work for 30 years at the same company. Today, they change jobs, start their own businesses, are on the move. Sometimes they want to be in several places at once. Thus, they do not need one office with a 10-year lease agreement. They are looking for flexible solutions, access to expensive technical and technological resources on an on-demand basis, short leases and transparent cooperation rules. We cater to their expectations,” he adds.

Premium location, no hidden costs

“Do we have competition in Warsaw? To some extent, but we believe we are unique. We combine superior customer service with a transparent approach and absolutely no hidden costs,” stresses Hadley Dean.

The first company office in Europe is located on the 10th floor of the Rondo 1 building in Warsaw. The premises are finished to a high standard. Inside, there is, among other things, a 15-metre atrium with a lounge for meeting clients, a large reception area with professional services, conference rooms with city views, offices for clients, coffee corners and break out areas. Short time rental is an advantage. A workstation or an office can be rented for one month, or even for one day, offering unrivaled levels of flexibility.

Dynamic growth and expansion plans

The company opened its first office in 2009 in Hong Kong. Since then it has become the largest provider of serviced offices in that city. It currently operates in over 12 countries: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Poland. It is in Poland that it wants to open five offices by 2017. . By the end of 2015 Compass Offices plan to open further offices in Hong Kong and Australia and are opening their first location in the Philippines. “We are looking to new markets and new challenges. We see that there are considerable expansion opportunities in Europe and other emerging markets. We will continue to develop especially where our future customers are and where our current customers need us to be. We have many clients that are with us in multiple countries and our openings in Poland will encourage them to open their businesses in this market too.” concludes Hadley Dean, CEO Compass Offices EMEA.
