The IT System Administrator will manage, deploy and maintain the IT server and application running on Microsoft Windows Server Environment including Active Directory, Office365, Exchange, Azure, and other cloud based applications.

The role will also provide support on any technical IT issues, tasks include installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware or software faults and solving technical problems, either over the phone, by email or face-to-face.

  • Manage and support IT systems, which includes, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, file sharing and Backup systems, Anti-virus, network monitoring, PBX and other cloud-based application such as Azure
  • Perform regular maintenance on server (VMWare and Microsoft) and all other system applications
  • Conduct equipment and system preventive maintenance and upgrades to ensure the IT infrastructure are up to date and equipment performance are optimized
  • Receive, log and manage all IT related inquires, incident, problem and request
  • Act as single point of contact (SPOC) for escalation for all IT  system and infrastructure related issues and concerns
  • Log and update ticket in the ITSM Ticketing tools based on category and priority
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service and adhere with the group’s process and procedure at all times
  • Ensure that response and resolution time are met as defined in the SLA
  • Create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships through thorough problem understanding, ensure timely resolution or escalation, communicate promptly on progress, and handle customers with consummately professional attitude
  •  Maintain and update IT document, process and procedure
  •  Work with field engineers or approved IT contractors to visit customers/employees on serious incident
  • Assist and provide onsite support when needed

  • Bachelor Degree holder in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in System Administration in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, O365 and Azure
  • Experience in managing Server, Backup, Anti-virus, VMWare and Network Monitoring Tool
  • Willing to work in a 24/7 shifting schedule (holidays and weekends)
  • Fluent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
  • Experience in using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools would be an advantage
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) for Windows Server 2012 or VMware certified is preferred
