The Network & Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for providing resolution of network problems for all internal and external IT services. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will take full responsibility and take ownership by providing a ‘one stop solution’ to clients’ needs in all areas related to IT.

  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex network problems for clients or end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair remotely if needed.
  • Perform day to day LAN, WAN and network security implementation and project delivery for Network services
  • Assist in network equipment configuration and service provisioning.
  • Manage and resolve customer problems and enquiries, maintain up to date status of IT support ticketing system
  • Provide routine monitor and analysis with our network performance
  • Review and confirm accuracy of Software and Hardware inventory of networking equipment
  • Support development and implementation of network projects and new hardware installations.
  • Assist in developing long term strategies and capacity planning to meet future network requirement and needs within the region.

  • College diploma or higher in computer science or related disciplines with minimum 3 years work experience
  • Holder of CCNA or related Cisco certification is highly preferred
  • Experience with Enterprise and Service Provider network hardware platforms and architectures including Cisco routers, switches and firewall platforms.
  • Strong competence of routing and switching technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, VRRP, CDP, LLDP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and MPLS.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and utilize troubleshooting skills, systems and tools, and creative problem solving abilities under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills
  • Independent, excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and ability to work under pressure
  • On-call availability during off hours.
  • Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, Chinese
