What does your business do?

Candid Properties is a full service “online to offline” estate agency for residential and commercial property in Hong Kong.

When was your company founded?

Founded in 2014 but only went live in September 2015

Tell us about your product or service:

Candid Properties has 3 unique pillars, a great website with all the information clients can need up front; relationship managers that take care of client needs not sales people and finally, 0% commission to buy or rent from us, no other fees at all. It’s free. We charge the landlords the market standard. Thanks to our primarily online business model we can pass savings onto our clients.

What is the biggest business challenge you face?

The biggest challenge I’m currently facing is being able to find great talent to join as Relationship Managers for the Property team quick enough.

What does a typical day look like for you?

The majority of my day is spent on strategy, working closely with my management team on tactical issues and working to increase the awareness of the brand and company.

What do you like about being with Compass offices?

The great thing about Compass are the friendly front of house staff, the well-equipped breakout areas and conference rooms and I love the chairs.

Favourite thing about Hong Kong?

Other than the food, weather and friendly people I love the proximity to destinations that most Europeans at least only get to go to for their honeymoons.
